Flora Grubb is not just a garden store, it’s an experience. It’s a beautifully designed space meant to entice you to meander and get inspired to garden. Everything is very well organized and discoverable, just in a natural flow. Beyond the lovely plants, they have artfully crafted pots and plant decor as well as trending patio furniture. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly too. I miss the coffee kiosk, because that gave me one more reason to go, but I guess I don’t really need another reason :)

Flora Grubb is my favorite place to go for full and healthy plants, artful pots, outdoor and indoor inspiration, and just a general sense of peacefulness. I love it every time I go. They have helped my garden and home feel fresh and alive season after season.

I've been buying my favorite plants from Flora Grubb since she operated from a vacant lot in The Mission District as a young entrepreneur years ago. She consistently has a selection of unique items that most other shops don't offer. I have also compared prices with the usual big box chain nurseries and was surprised that her prices are often no higher, and frequently a bit lower, but for significantly better quality. But really, I go to Flora because I love the atmosphere she's created and the knowledgeable and helpful staff.
